Captain Dan Clymer was born and raised in Crystal River, and has been fishing Citrus County waters his entire life. Dan is a full time guide, chartering the Crystal and Homosassa Rivers, and a proud member of the Homosassa Guides Association. Dan has had his captain’s license since the age of 18, and specializes in shallow water Grouper, flats fishing, fly fishing for Tarpon, and "back country" fishing. He has been featured in numerous magazines, television shows and daily fishing reports.
Born a fifth generation Florida Native, Captain Dallas King was introduced to his home waters at an early age, reeling in his first fish at three. He grew to love fishing and the wildlife encountered while on the Gulf, Rivers and Estuaries of his homeland. Now, he loves nothing more than sharing the beauty of fishing Crystal River with his clients of all ages and anglers of all skill levels.
Family time is also important to him. On days clients aren’t scheduled, he loves to take his wife and two stepchildren fishing. His stepson Devon works with him during scallop season as an in-water guide and wife Amanda is an in-water guide for manatee tours, so you could say it really is a family surrounded by water! Captain Dallas accredits his Father and late Grandfather, both professional fishermen, in teaching him how to interpret water, drive a boat, fish, and exposing him to the joy of the outdoors God provides.
From inches of water in the "back country" running down Redfish and Snook, to the flats and nearshore rocks chasing speckled sea Trout and Sheepshead, Captain Dallas loves it all. He has two boats to accommodate all anglers comfortably from the backcountry mud boat, to the twenty-two-foot center console, family friendly boat. Priding himself in providing the best service and entertainment as possible, Dallas always strives to put a smile on the faces of customers.

Captain Eric was born in South Florida and learned the appreciation for saltwater fishing from his father. They would travel to the Florida Keys for weekend getaways, and to enjoy fishing along with all the natural beauty.
A little later in life, Captain Eric’s father was transferred to Northeast Florida and he learned to fish for Largemouth Bass on the St. Johns River. As he grew into adulthood, work took him from Florida, however he still found ways to fish. He eventually had the opportunity to find his way back to the Sunshine State, and embrace, once again, his passion for Florida fishing.
Eric loves to share the joy of fishing with his family and friends. He fishes for Redfish and Snook, but he feels saltwater is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.
Give Captain Eric a call for a fun filled day of fishing, or even for a relaxing day out on the water.

You might say Captain Ed Menster has fishing running through his veins. A lifelong Florida resident, Captain Ed fished the waters of Pensacola with his Father as a young boy in the 1970’s, often times pulling in prize catches bigger than he was! He moved to South Florida as a teenager, and spent time on the waters there fishing with his Uncle, who was a champion racer running regattas from South Florida to the Bahamas.
His love of the water led him to enlist in the United States Coast Guard, where he was stationed in St. Petersburg and later Yankeetown in the late 1980’s. He loved fishing the inshore flats and back country near Crystal River, and decided Citrus County would be his forever home. Captain Ed quickly made a name for himself winning several tournaments in the area. Our pristine mangrove keys hold a wide variety of fish, and a day out on Captain Ed’s 23-foot Carolina Skiff restored by Young boats is a day you won’t soon forget! Few places in the world can support a year-round fishery as fertile and plentiful as the one here in Citrus County, and he is proud to share our little slice of heaven with his valued clients!
The perfect fishing adventure has Captain Ed taking out a charter of up to four people for a half-day or full-day fishing excursion, where you will find the excitement and thrill of catching Redfish on light tackle as well as Snook, Trout, Cobia, Pompano and several other species of fish. Captain Ed caters to all clients, whether they are seasoned anglers or this is their first time on a boat. His 33 years of fishing the local waters of Citrus County means all of this knowledge and expertise will ensure that you come home with many fish tales and memories to last a lifetime. Just remember, there is a fishing season for each type of saltwater species, so be sure to contact Captain Ed with any questions regarding the species you want to target.
Captain Ed is also happy to offer half and full day scallop excursions for up to 6 people during our Summer Scallop Season, and also offers eco-tours where he shares his in-depth knowledge of the local ecosystem which uniquely covers fresh spring waters, brackish and salt water. You will have the chance to encounter a wide variety of species, to include seeing such things as a majestic bald eagle in flight, dolphins frolicking, or possibly even one of our resident manatees.
All charters include tackle, bait, saltwater fishing license and fish cleaning for those who prefer not to catch and release. Of course, you are more than welcome to bring along your own gear as appropriate for the fish being targeting. Captain Ed has made many repeat clients over the years, because he doesn’t treat you like a customer; you are a friend for life!
